Notifications
Notifications tell you the moment something needs your attention — a visitor wants to talk to a human, a lead came in, or someone left feedback. You can get them two ways: browser push (instant pop-ups) and email. Configure both under Settings > Notifications.
Web Push Notifications
Enable browser notifications to get real-time alerts:
- Go to Settings > Notifications.
- Click Enable Web Push.
- Allow notifications when your browser prompts you.
You'll receive push notifications for new live chat requests.
Email Notifications
Configure email alerts for each tool independently:
| Tool | Notification Trigger |
|---|---|
| Live Chat | New live chat request from a visitor |
| Leads | New lead captured by the chatbot |
| Feedback | New feedback submitted on a response |
| Questions | New unanswered or flagged question |
| Bookings | New appointment booking |
Customizing Recipients
For each notification tool, you can customize who receives the alerts. By default, notifications go to the account owner. Add additional email addresses to route notifications to the right team members.
Managing Notifications
- Toggle individual notification types on or off
- Update email recipients at any time
- Web push notifications can be disabled in your browser settings
