WhatsApp Integration
Let your customers interact with your AI chatbot directly through WhatsApp. The chatbot answers messages using your trained data — just like it does on your website.
Prerequisites
- A Meta Business Account (business.facebook.com)
- A WhatsApp Business Account with a verified phone number, linked to your Meta Business Account
- A WebChatAgent chatbot on the Standard plan or above with trained data
You do not need to create your own Meta developer app — WebChatAgent uses Meta's Embedded Signup with its own app.
Quick Start
- Open your chatbot in the WebChatAgent dashboard.
- Go to the WhatsApp tab in the chatbot settings.
- Click "Connect WhatsApp Business" — you'll be redirected to Meta's Embedded Signup to authorize WebChatAgent.
- Select your WhatsApp Business Account and phone number in the Meta dialog, then return to the dashboard.
- You're done. Webhook configuration is handled automatically — no manual setup in Meta required.
- Test the connection — Send a message to your WhatsApp number and verify the chatbot responds.
How It Works
When a customer sends a message to your WhatsApp Business number, WebChatAgent receives it via the WhatsApp Business API, processes it with your chatbot's trained data, and sends the AI-generated reply back through WhatsApp.
Availability
WhatsApp integration is available on Standard, Premium, and Enterprise plans. Standard WhatsApp Business API costs from Meta may apply.
