Team Members
Collaborate with your team by inviting members and assigning granular permissions. Available on the Standard plan and above.
Inviting Team Members
- Go to Settings > Team Members.
- Click Invite Member.
- Enter the team member's email address.
- Select their permissions (see below).
- Click Send Invite — they'll receive an email with a link to set their password and join.
The invitation link expires after 7 days. You can resend it at any time.
Permissions
Assign access to specific features for each team member:
| Permission | Description |
|---|---|
| Chatbot Settings | Access chatbot configuration, data sources, and prompt settings |
| Live Chat | Respond to live chat conversations |
| Analytics | View chatbot analytics and reports |
| Conversations | Read and review chatbot conversations |
| Leads | View and manage captured leads |
| Feedback | View user feedback on chatbot responses |
| Questions | View unanswered or flagged questions |
| Bookings | View and manage appointment bookings |
| Team Wiki | Access the AI Team Wiki (can be used standalone — see below) |
Restricting Access to Specific Chatbots
By default, team members have access to all chatbots on your account. You can restrict a member to only see specific chatbots by selecting them during the invite or when editing permissions.
Wiki-Only Access
If you assign only the Team Wiki permission (without any other permissions), the team member gets a special wiki-only mode:
- They can log in with their email and password
- They are redirected directly to the Team Wiki — no dashboard access
- They cannot see or modify chatbot settings, conversations, leads, or any other backend features
- Perfect for giving employees access to your internal knowledge base without exposing the admin area
Use case: You have 50 employees who need access to your internal knowledge base (Confluence/Notion content), but only 2 admins who manage the chatbot. Invite the 50 employees with wiki-only permissions — they get a simple login to the wiki without seeing any admin features.
Managing Members
- Edit permissions — Click the edit icon on a team member to update their access rights
- Remove members — Remove a team member to revoke all access immediately
- Resend invitations — Resend the invite email if it was missed or expired (only for pending members)
How Team Members Log In
Team members log in at the same URL as account owners. The system automatically detects whether the email belongs to an owner or a team member:
- Full access members see the dashboard with only the features they have permission for
- Wiki-only members are redirected to the Team Wiki directly after login
Team Member Limits
| Plan | Max Team Members |
|---|---|
| Free / Basic | Not available |
| Standard | 3 |
| Premium | 10 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
Note: Team members do not have access to account settings, billing, API keys, or the AVV/DPA agreement. These are reserved for the account owner.
