Account Settings

This page is where you manage your personal account details — your login email, password, and whether you receive product emails. You'll find it under the Settings page in the WebChatAgent dashboard. (Plan and payment changes live on the separate Billing page.)

Account Information

  • Email — Your registered email address (used for login and notifications)
  • Account Type — Shows your current plan (Free, Basic, Standard, Premium, or Enterprise)
  • Newsletter — Opt in or out of product updates and tips

Change Password

If you registered with an email and password (not a social login such as Google), you can change your password here:

  1. Go to Settings > Account.
  2. Enter your current password.
  3. Enter and confirm your new password.
  4. Click Save.

Password requirements: minimum 8 characters. If you signed up with Google, there's no password to change — you keep logging in through Google.

Delete Account

You can delete your account only when you have no active subscription. If you're on a paid plan, first cancel your subscription via the Stripe Customer Portal (see Billing) and wait for it to expire — this prevents Stripe from continuing to bill a card after the account is gone. Free-plan users can delete right away.

  1. Go to Settings > Account.
  2. Scroll to Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All chatbots, conversations, data sources, leads, bookings, and settings are erased immediately and cannot be recovered. Only the account owner can delete the account — team members cannot.
